Teddington Woodcraft Folk is an entirely volunteer-run organisation, and the main Woodcraft Folk organisation itself is also largely run by volunteers. If you'd like to get involved, sometimes we have some volunteer opportunities available, which we'll list here.
While we appreciate offers to help, please note volunteers will be required to be DBS checked, become members of Woodcraft Folk, and may be subject to an interview or other procedures, and we cannot guarantee that we will accept everybody.
Elfin group leader
We are looking for another leader to help set up a second Elfin (6-9 year old) group with Jonny. The new group would most likely run at the same time as the other group, on Thursday nights from 5:30pm-7pm. The existing Elfin group has a very long waiting list so this group should be well-attended from the start. If you are interested please contact Jonny: firstname.lastname@example.org
Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteering
We sometimes have opportunities for those doing their DofE volunteering. Usually this involves helping organise and run one of the group nights for a period of time. See the group nights page for more information and who to contact.
